Apple TV Announces Global Espionage Thriller Tehran Is Renewed for a Third Season

The International Emmy-winning drama Tehran is getting a third season at Apple TV and adding Hugh Laurie to the cast as Eric Peterson, a South African nuclear inspector.

The third season of Tehran will follow Tamar (Niv Sultan), a Mossad agent who goes deep undercover in Tehran to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons. In the second season, Tamar's cover was blown, but she managed to escape with the help of her handler, Faraz (Shaun Toub).

It is not yet known when the third season of Tehran will premiere on Apple TV+. However, it is expected to be released sometime in 2024.
