Adrian Lam highlights the six players he believes St Helens will rely on to shatter Leigh Leopards in an important game tomorrow
St Helens travels to Leigh Sports Village for a Betfred Super League round 13 clash on Friday night.
Adrian Lam believes the talented six will be instrumental in bringing down Leigh tomorrow night.
The former Leigh head coach has been impressed with the progress Saints have made under Kristian Woolf and believes they are a genuine threat to St Helens' chances of winning the Super League title this year.
Among the St Helens players Lam is wary of are:
1. Jack Welsby - He is a versatile and dangerous player, with great speed, skill, and vision.
2. James Roby - Roby is a key part of St Helens' leadership group and is a world-class hooker with years of experience.
3. Sione Mata'utia - He is a physical and aggressive forward who is also strong in defense.
4. Jonny Lomax - He is a creative and skillful fullback who is dangerous in attack.
5. Dan Norman - He is a speedy and elusive winger who is always a threat to score tries.
6. Konrad Hurrell - He is a powerful and destructive center who can score tries from anywhere on the field.
The Leigh head coach believes Saints will be a tough test for his team, but he is confident that his players are up to the challenge.
"St Helens are a quality side, and they will be a tough test for us," Lam said.
"They have a lot of experience and quality in their team, and they are always a threat to score points."
"But we are confident in our own abilities, and we know that if we play to our potential, we can cause them problems."
